While the PSG star and his wife were away, burglars broke into footballer Marco Verratti’s Ibiza vacation home and stole more than £2.5 million in cash and jewelry
Investigators are looking for burglars who are suspected of stealing goods valued at more than £2.5 million from Marco Verratti’s vacation home in Ibiza.
According to Sportmail, the burglars stole into the house early on Sunday, June 26, while the football player and his family were out. The house is said to belong to former Brazil international Ronaldo.
It appears that the robbers took the money, jewelry, and watches. The Civil Guard is conducting the probe.
Verratti’s residence is thought to have been in Cala Jondal, in the southern region of Ibiza, where Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, had been at her wealthy uncle’s Maison de Bang Bang.
