Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, a well-known Nigerian singer and songwriter who goes by the internet handle Ayra Starr, has drawn a lot of attention for her comments about her mother’s profound influence, despite being a successful musician.

The singer of the song “Rush,” Ayra Starr, made this revelation while visiting Beat FM as a guest. She talked about her record-breaking expenditures, her Grammy nomination, and her next album.

Despite the fact that we live in the twenty-first century, Ayra Starr admits that her real mother is still very much an African mother.

Ayra Starr described a case when she had the money to buy the desired bag, but she decided against it because her mother would constantly berate her for spending excessive amounts of money on flashy products.

Ayra Starr went on to say that when she was at her concert at two in the morning, her mother would call to see whether she had made it back home.

The Grammy-nominated singer continued by saying that her mother frequently calls her manager and crew to ask how they are doing after her performances.
