England striker Lauren James has predicted a “very difficult” clash when her team meet Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the Round of 16 at the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

James spoke in his post-match interview after leading England to a 6-1 defeat of China in their final Group D encounter on Tuesday.

Sarina Wiegman’s side will face Nigeria on August 7 in Brisbane and James thinks the match will be tough.
