The musician Timaya, whose full name is Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon from Nigeria, has said that he admires Davido, his junior colleague, for his perseverance.
Timaya recently said in an interview that Davido has remained focused and hardworking despite being from an affluent family.
The “dey your dey” hit maker, who claims to be a fan of the “Unavailable” hit maker, did, however, reveal that he thinks it insulting when people disregard OBO’s efforts.
Timaya asserts that the singer is aware that some people wouldn’t bother to work if their father had as much wealth as Mr. Adeleke and that he has worked hard to create his own fortune.
In his words, “I’m a fan of Davido , I find it disrespectful when people try to water down his hard work in the name of the father has money. Yes the father has money but Davido has worked hard to get his own.”“He is extremely talented and consistent . He is one of the most hard working young men that I’ve seen. Quit trying to discredit him this young man has done way too much”.
